Comfort zone musings
I'm not very good about creating posts because I'm not used to this whole process. Also, there is a comfort zone issue: I'm not tremendously comfortable sharing my rambling thoughts with the universe. It is mostly a habit thing, though. Mainly, I need to get into the habit. I can waste hours on the computer...waste being a relative term here. I'm going to make an effort to connect this to something more useful.

Blogging may not be something that you'll use, either professionally or instructionally. If it doesn't serve a purpose for you, then I'd avoid it. However, I think it's a good idea to "live in that world" for a while and see what it might offer. It takes some time--give it a semester.
It also helps to read other blogs. Do a Google search for "education blogs" and try a few. There are some excellent ones out there.
