guitar/ music musings

I'm becoming a youtubeophile. I've discovered that there are hundreds of examples of concerts, songs, riffs, ect. from old and new performers alike available on youtube. Last night I watched Dylan's Newport Folk festival performance of Mr. Tambourine Man, Stills' playing 4 + 20 and Suite for Judy Blue Eyes along with a rare performance of Roger McGuinn joined by Dylan on Tambourine Man. It provides the opportunity to not only listen, but to play along if the spirit so moves. There appears to be an endless supply of such artists available with a few keystrokes.

Comfort zone musings

I'm not very good about creating posts because I'm not used to this whole process. Also, there is a comfort zone issue: I'm not tremendously comfortable sharing my rambling thoughts with the universe. It is mostly a habit thing, though. Mainly, I need to get into the habit. I can waste hours on the computer...waste being a relative term here. I'm going to make an effort to connect this to something more useful.

Life is gooood

My computer has returned and has been updated. I'm still struggling a bit to seamlessly get to the richmedia site, google reader, blogger, etc. but now that I have an updated computer with bookmarks, life should get easier. I look forward to Feb. 1 and will have many questions, I'm sure.

still waiting

I'm still waiting for my computer to arrive from Phx. This is the first time I've done any blogging, so this aspect is new to me. I greatly enjoyed the class and look forward to using the new tools, especially once my wayward computer finds me.
